How do you get your news?

Over a hot cuppa in the morning while reading the paper?

From the TV? Your favourite radio station? Facebook? Mrs Butterworth over the back fence?

In this day and age, we are pretty lucky (??) to have so many different mediums available to provide us with information on what’s happening in the world.

But, in the marketing/communication game there is a myriad of great stories and industry developments that disappear into the void because they don’t make it into the mainstream news feeds.

And I want to change that.

I want to share with you some of the more amazing things happening both locally and further afield via a new electronic newsletter we’re creating at Round Square Marketing.

“NOOOOOOOOO! Not another newsletter” – I hear you cry.

But don’t panic……..just stay with me while I explain.

I do concede, some industry publications can be as dry as the Sahara and rank up there with holiday slide-nights and school eisteddfods for entertainment value, but ours is going to be different.

We’re going to be having a lot of fun…….and you will too (trust me).

One thing we CAN promise is the newsletter will never be a shameless, self-serving plug for Round Square Marketing.

We’ll leave the ads for the media outlets and instead concentrate on creating a user-friendly, engaging newsletter that our readers will look forward to receiving.

It’s been proven time and again that quality newsletters help build relationships, increase brand-name awareness and customer loyalty.

As I said, there are SO many amazing things going on around the region that will be of great interest.

More often than not, our team at Round Square Marketing is involved with these events as a marketing partner or as a part of the event management team – so, the newsletter will be the perfect vehicle to keep you up to date with an insider’s perspective of what’s trending in the industry.

We’re looking to publish the newsletter on the first Tuesday of the month (yes, even on Melbourne Cup Day – that’s how committed we are) and it will be chock full of fun facts and thought-provoking stats.

Data doesn’t have to be boring and we’ll be presenting it in a fun and quirky way that will be entertaining as well as educational – hopefully providing our valued customers (and potential customers) with a helpful insight into the sometimes confusing world of marketing.

The e-newsletter will also be a great opportunity to show off the graphic art skills of our insanely talented staff.

The first edition will hit your in-box in December.

I know you’ll be blown away by what we’ve got in mind.
